CAPTIVE BRED CLOWNFISH

How does our clownfish breeding work?

We breed our clownfish in Germany with the help of small 20l glass tanks, in which the skimmed larvae are provided with food. As rearing food we use we use home grown zooplankton in the first days. After a few days the larvae are introduced to Artemia nauplii. After about 4 weeks they are moved from the rearing tanks to a larger facility, where they can be accustomed to to any other food.
